Sports Relief 2016

Towards the end of last term all of the children at BFPS took part in the nationwide charity event ‘Sport Relief’.  All children were involved and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to race around the playground and challenge themselves against peers and members of staff.

The event was a huge success and has raised £2012.85! Half of which will be used to provide new sports kits for our school teams and the other half will be donated to the charity ‘Sport relief’.

Here's what some of the children had to say about the event:

“I feel that the event made me fitter and I had great fun whilst raising money for charity.”

“It was fantastic.  I thoroughly enjoyed trying to beat the teachers.”

“I enjoyed sport relief because last year I managed to complete 19 laps and this year I completed 27!”

The fundraising event will have a huge, positive impact on both our school and many less fortunate children around the world.

I would like to thank all of the children, their families and friends for such a super effort and huge generosity.
