Have fun as a family answering the Easter Quiz questions. There are 20 general knowledge questions and a picture round. When you have completed the quiz, email your answers back to your child’s class teacher at their home learning email address. If you have more than one child at the school, you can send your answers to all of their class teachers. Closing date for replies is Sunday 19th April 2020. If you are the brainiest family in your child’s class, you will receive an email from the teacher letting you know that you have won!

There are no prizes, just glory!

The answers will be posted in the Home Learning section of the school website on Monday 20th April 2020. We invite you to mark your own and join in our Twitter feed by telling us your score in the twitter comments! Get ready for the quiz by following Braunstone Frith Primary School on Twitter.

Below are some suggestions if you are running out of entertainment ideas over the Easter holidays - Stay safe and have fun!

It is important that your child doesn't miss out on their education because of this closure. We have made every effort to ensure that your child can carry on learning and maintain their progress. To this end, your child has been sent home with a Home Learning Pack.

Inside each pack are home learning sheets with activities. These activities can be repeated on a daily basis. They can be recorded in the book or sheets provided as part of the pack. Year 6 children have been provided with past papers. There are also a list of websites that you can visit and programmes your children can watch.

The home learning books will be checked by the class teacher on your child's return to school.

Your child should be doing the following activities each day;

  • Reading / Spelling / Sight words
  • Practising their Times Tables (Especially Yr 4 children)
  • A Writing activity
  • A Maths activity

Should you have any questions you can contact your child's class teacher using the email address for their year group. Emails will be responded to during working hours.
